Warnings, Demotion, Strikes & Firing Policy
Following is the policy of the disciplinary actions taken in Habbo Secret Service, it consists of 4 sections, Warnings, Demotion, Strikes & Firing. Do note of the severity of each punishment in accordance to the offence, on a case-by-case basis. This policy, along with the other policies, and Code of Conduct, forms the overall Rules of the Habbo Secret Service.
Punishment ProceduresFor the Standard Ranks.
For the General Staff (Security - Leadership)
For the Higher Staff (Room Control and above)
If not, the demotion status will remain.]
WarningsA warning is a word of cautionary advice, usually given by the higher authority. When received, the individual should be aware that further disciplinary actions will be taken against them if their offences persist. Any high rank can warn a member who is at least 5 ranks below them without the need for approval.
Normal Warnings 1 & 2 are given to Standard Ranks or any other staff member who displays any type of misconduct.
Example: Please refrain from talking in caps, sir. / Please turn off your effects, ma'am.
Example: I am warning you, please refrain from being rude towards the HR or you may face demotion.
* These types of warnings are meant for higher ranked offenders; they should be brought to an office, be talked to and warned officially.
You will then have to log the verbal warnings in the Disciplinary Logs on the boards. Please do not forget to take screenshots of the warning. (http://sshabbo.boards.net/board/20/disciplinary-logs)
DemotionsDemotion is defined as the act of reducing a person’s rank by a specific number. For example, demoting a Standard Rank from the rank of B.U.M. Inspector to Cadet. This should be the second point of action for punishment after someone has received one or multiple verbal warnings, depending on the situation. Demotions should be a first point of action, rather than a strike.
Examples of situations that warrants a demotion:
Below are some examples of situations that a demotion would be appropriate.
(A verbal warning should have first been given)
These are only examples, they are not stating the only scenarios in which a demotion can be issued.
Standard Ranks
Non-Standard Ranks (Security +)
When issuing a demotion, ensure to have it logged here: (http://sshabbo.boards.net/board/20/disciplinary-logs)
StrikesStrikes are regarded as a more severe punishment, and these should be taken more seriously by all staff ranks. Strikes should only be issued in certain circumstances, and after a demotion has already been considered / occurred. Do not strike someone for a less severe mistake, instead, use a demotion.
First Strike : Add x1 into Motto.
The first strike should be taken as a major warning, and may carry a demotion depending on the severity of the case, and will remain for at least 14 days. Only after 14 days can the strike be removed, and it can only be removed by the issuer of the strike, or by MoD+.
Second Strike : Add x2 into Motto.
The second strike should be taken as a major offence, and consist of a demotion by at least a few ranks, depending on the severity of the case. This strike will remain for at least 14-28 days, and can only be removed by a MoD and above after an investigation has been carried out.
Third and Final Strike
This strike can only be issued by a MoD and above. The person that wishes to issue a third strike must present their evidence to MoD+, providing screenshots and links where possible. It is then up to MoD+ whether or not the strike is issued. Once issued, the person will be removed from the Secret Service with immediate effect.

FiringFiring is defined as the termination of a member’s employment in the agency, and is regarded as the most severe punishment. Firing should only be utilized in situations where it is absolutely necessary. As a termination of a member’s career in the agency is a significant charge, only consider this point of action after acknowledging demotions and strikes to be too lenient for the specific disciplinary case.
As per the Promotion Policy, High Ranks + can fire anyone who is 5 ranks lower than them, provided they are not in the same division and the proper approval has been obtained.
Approvals for fire:
